Mindfulness has many evidence based health and wellbeing benefits including stress reduction, anxiety and depression relief, pain reduction, confidence/creativity enhancement and much more. This 2 hour workshop is an introduction to mindfulness suitable for beginners to discover more understanding about mindfulness training, what it is and how the associated health benefits can improve personal wellbeing. We will cover mindful teachings, tools, techniques and basic meditation practice throughout the session.
The workshop will feature some mindful movement and meditation too with a series of stretching followed by meditation and relaxation, guided with music. The ultimate experience for gentle relaxation. Please bring your own blanket and pillow.
This will be led by Cassie Judd who is a registered practitioner of the British Psychological Society approved ‘Mindfulness Now’ programme facilitated through Central England College who has growing passion for health and wellbeing. Founder of Mind & Bloom and helping people across the West Midlands to find their own wellbeing.
